  •  Les Miserables

 The novel tells the story of Jean Valjean, a poor man living in France in the nineteenth century. Jan is subjected to injustice and cruelty by society  and the judicial system, and is convicted of stealing a piece of bread and sentenced to  19 years in prison. After his release from prison, Jan tries to start a new life and live  with dignity, but he faces many difficulties. Javert, the captain of the guard, escapes  and Jean Valjean meets his father, Cosette Fantin, who is suffering from a serious  illness, so she asks him to take care of her child. When she dies, Jean Valjean adopts  Cosette, a young girl suffering from poverty and neglect, and lives a new life with  him under the name Grochet. Jean Valjean's life intersects in the novel, and events  develop to explore the concept of compassion and humanity in light of poverty and  suffering. In the end, Cosette marries the one she loves, and Jean Valjean dies of old  age. It is a poignant novel that addresses issues of social justice, compassion, and sacrifice. Written by Victor Hugo and published in 1862.



  • Love in the Time of Cholera

 Is the story of a lover who continued to love him for  more than 50 years. Florentino, the delicate young man, loved Fermina Daza, who had also loved him since her teenage years, but she married a brilliant doctor at the  request of her father, who refused to marry her to Florentino. Fermina spent a long,  happy life with her husband until he passed away. At this time, Florentino moved  between the arms of countless mistresses and continued to accumulate a large fortune.  Upon the death of her husband, Fermina discovered that Florentino, who had  reappeared in her life, had never stopped loving her. He says to her, “I have waited  for this opportunity for more than half a century. I have waited to repeat to you my  pledge of eternal loyalty and immortal love”.


  • Wuthering Heights 

    The novel's events revolve around Heathcliff, an adopted boy  who falls in love with Catherine, his father's adopted daughter. While the first part of  this novel is immersed in the feelings of overwhelming love that Heathcliff has for  Catherine, the second part is overshadowed by Heathcliff's desire for revenge on his  beloved, who did not marry him, but married Edgar. Linton, who belongs to a  prominent aristocratic family, makes love in this novel the fuel of revenge and the  first and only driver of all events and characters .The British novelist Emily Brontë  was known for her only novel, “Wuthering Heights,” which is considered one of the  classics of English literature. Emily, who was called “the Great Sphinx of British  Literature,” was known to be introverted, isolated, and shy. It is one of Emily  Brontë's novels Published in 1847, the novel explores many issues such as social  class, violence, and revenge. Is known for its complex characters and dark  atmosphere. Heathcliff, a depressed and vengeful character, and the ghostly presence  of Catherine's love after death contribute to the novel's gothic and mystical elements.  It is a powerful exploration of the intensity of love and the consequences of  unrestrained emotions.
